The Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Akatsi South Constituency, Tony Kojo Owusu, together with the Constituency Organising and Communications Departments, is undertaking an intensive tour across all the 132 branches in the constituency to strengthen the ongoing nationwide membership registration exercise.

The exercise, which started on 10th February 2026, will end on 30th March 2026, and is aimed at expanding the party’s membership while reorganising the base of the party at the branch level.
The tour is being led by the Constituency Chairman Hon. Tony Kojo Owusu (Westfalia), supported by the Constituency Organiser Hon. Sulley, the Constituency Communications Officer Hon. Attivor, and the Deputy Communications Officer Tsiamigah Avege, who have been working tirelessly to ensure that every branch is actively participating in the registration exercise.
The team began the monitoring and motivation tour on 28th and 29th February 2026, continued on 3rd March, and resumed again on 17th March 2026, visiting branch after branch to monitor the registration process, assist branch executives, educate members, and ginger the branches to register more citizens into the great NDC before the deadline.

So far, the hardworking team has successfully toured over 100 branches, with the remaining branches expected to be covered before the closing date.
The leadership has expressed satisfaction with the commitment shown by branch executives and members across the constituency.
The leadership is also using this opportunity to call on all non-members, sympathisers, and well-meaning citizens in Akatsi South to take advantage of the ongoing registration to join the National Democratic Congress.
Joining the NDC at this time gives members the opportunity to be part of the reorganisation of the party base, participate in internal decision-making, and contribute directly to the development agenda of the constituency and the country at large.
The leadership emphasized that a stronger membership will ensure better representation, more opportunities for grassroots participation, and a united front going into future national assignments.
Hon. Westfalia urged all sympathisers and supporters of the party to take advantage of the remaining days to register, stressing that a strong branch structure remains the backbone of the NDC.

The tour continues in the coming days as the leadership remains determined to build a strong, vibrant, and well-organised NDC in Akatsi South.
